Why We do What We Do
How do you feed a growing population on a reduced amount of arable land in the face of climate change?
Climate change, depleted soils, access to information and finance are some of the challenges farmers face today. Collaboration, compassion and collective action will pave the way in designing, developing and deploying solutions.
Ubuntu Alliance is building bridges between farmers, researchers, scientist and organisations to catalyse innovation, knowledge transfer, finance and wealth into the agriculture sector.
Starting with the Soil
There are many areas that interest us however there is one critical area we have decided to prioritise and that is Soil.

Soil is formed at a rate of only 1cm every 100-400 years and it takes 3000-12000 years to build enough soil to form productive land and this can be destroyed in minutes.
